When you leave highschool you vow that you won't speak to majority of the people you went to school with.
And while this may be what you want, is it always for the best? After you leave highschool, people will tell you that they miss you, but you know they're lying, they don't miss you, they miss having friends around them, they just don't want to sit there and realize that majority of their friends they grew up with don't have the time for them anymore. Those people don't care. Soon you'll realize that some of the people you said goodbye to are some of the people you wish you still had around and it'll be to late. Everything changes when school ends. Everyone becomes someone new, we all change in some way, small or largely. When you see these people you miss an see how happy they are and how different they are, it makes you begin to wonder why you stopped talking to them in the first place, why you lost contact. You'll realize it's not them that you miss, it's the friend that they were, the person they used to be. Sometimes it's better to let go and start over. New friends, new life. But there's always times where you'll go back in time in your head and reminisce the memories you shared with people you once knew, people you once loved, people who are out there somewhere, probably feeling the same way you do. Happy, content, but still a little bit lost in the world.
